However, many other apps do. We are so accustomed to seeing ourselves in the mirror that it looks strange when it it NOT reversed. You can test this by holding something with text on it in front of your iSight.
I think you will be able to read the text in iMovie's capture window. And I want to avoid having to turn the book around to read the words before turning it back to face the child camera. In other words, so I can read the book off my computer screen? If such an app existed separately, I could have it open alongside the FaceTime app. Having a hard time visualizing that configuration. Which app are you using and what sort of problem is this causing? Joined Feb 15, Messages 1 Reaction score 0 Points 1.
I have your answer if you are using photobooth Berko New member. To have a piece of "photographic" equipment which only shows up in reverse is dumb in the extreme. Mac Daddy Vibe New member. Joined Oct 6, Messages 1 Reaction score 0 Points 1.
The applications merely show you "yourself" mirrored, to make it easier for you to adjust your position and frame yourself in the shot. Thats great for iChat and Photo but what about when you want to use the camera to show an actual app that has something other than someones face.
Apple has to accept that there is "enterprise" users and not just "consumer". DamienJ said:. It happens on my MacBookPro too. Any picture I take with the built in camera have been reversed to me and everybody else too. I searched for a solution before a few years ago and found none. I'm back to Windows by the way. Don't ever look in your rearview mirror in the car. Same thing.
